Every Child Deserves To Read!
In an effort to close the literacy gap in Dane County, and the state of Wisconsin, we will work collaboratively with all schools to share our science-based approach to literacy instruction. Our Teacher Training offers various classes and workshops to educators interested in learning how to teach their students to read by Third Grade. It also provides opportunities for teachers to learn how to intervene instruction for older students (above Fourth Grade) who are struggling with learning to read. Teachers will learn how to identify symptoms of dyslexia and implement tips and tools to teach them to learn to read. We share brain research which explains how good readers are able to read proficiently and why others do not. Below proficient or below basic readers can learn to read with explicit instruction that is different than what most educators were taught in college. We can help with solutions for struggling readers. Our promise is that Feller makes teaching joyful and fun for you and your classroom or school district.
